My wife and I are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to complete a number of home purchases in our nearly 40 years of marriage. And while we’ve dealt with a number of realtors/brokers and agents, one has stood out to have been the best of the best.
On our most recent transaction for a retirement home, our realtor asked that we provide him with our top 10 priorities in a retirement home. One would think this is a relatively easy task, but it really took a lot of thought. Let’s see, less than 10 years old, pool/spa, golf course view, back yard that keeps our family pet inside, great neighborhood and street scene, excellent curb appeal, little or no association fees, the list went on and on. Then he worked with us to put the list in some sort of order. After a lot of discussion, we quickly found that our realtor was genuinely interested in finding the right home for us. It’s his attention to the details, fresh ideas and focusing on what was important to us, instead of just selling a home that quickly made him our realtor for life.
We’ve been in our retirement home for nearly 2 years and couldn’t be happier with our home, the realtor we used and a new great friend for years to come, aka our full-service realtor.
Thank you Mr. John Butler, for going over the top to help us select our home that we plan to enjoy for many, many years to come. It’s an honor to recommend you as the best of the best. You are truly one of a kind.
Now that we have our desert home, maybe someday in the not to distant future, we will be in a position to ask John to help us find a second retirement home, this time in the mountains, where we can escape the desert heat when we choose to do so. In the meantime, we will run the patio/pool area misters and keep the adult beverages ice cold just in case he stops by for a visit. The door is always open for our FSR “full service realtor”.
